Jessica Lannine, BFA, Artist, Art Instructor at Art Day, former school Art teacher-turned-homeschooling mom of two creative kids, creates, curates and teaches all of the Art Day classes.

Jessica has always been passionate about making Art. As a child, Jessica spent countless hours and filled thousands of papers with drawings and paint. Jessica earned a BFA in Art, with concentrations in both Painting and Education and was certified to teach Art in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Jessica taught Art to thousands of children at the Elementary School level for over five years, before having children. After having children Jessica decided to stop teaching and leave the classroom and become a stay-at-home/homeschooling mom and has homeschooled both of her children for their whole lives. Jessica's kids, now 12 and 16, are incredibly creative, love learning and have made many Art Day projects alongside their mom.
Jessica’s artwork has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at various art galleries in Charlotte. Jessica has been a guest speaker at several Universities, being invited to speak both as an artist and also as an art teacher. Jessica has taught art classes to people of all ages, from Kindergarteners to senior citizens. Through Art Day, Jessica can provide high-quality, creativity-nourishing, safe, fun art classes to children at a time that is convenient for everyone and to children who are near and far! Jessica also has an extensive background in Special Education.
